Two-part RTV, neutral cure, nonslumping, cures faster than most one-part RTVs.
Dow Corning Q3-3516 Adhesive/Sealant is a fast-setting, high-performance, nonslumping, neutral-cure, RTV silicone rubber that exhibits excellent unprimed adhesion to many substrates.
These substrates include a wide range of engineered thermoplastics, including ABS, polycarbonate, PBT, PET, acrylics, polyamides, and plastics treated with specific scratchresistant coatings.
The product exhibits excellent weathering properties, and provides heat and UV resistance.
It is supplied as a two-part product and should be mixed at 10:1 by weight for optimum cure and properties.
Dow Corning Q3-3516 Adhesive/Sealant is specially designed to adhere and seal dissimilar materials, where different thermal expansion rates demand a flexible yet strong bond.
It is ideal for sealing and adhering automotive lamps, exterior mirrors, and other industrial assemblies. |
