Phosflex 318 is a proprietary low color blend, primarily for use as a flame retardant plasticizer in flexible
PVC applications. Using Phosflex 318 either as the sole plasticizer or as a partial substitution of a non-FR
plasticizer can substantially enhance the composite¡¯s flame resistance. Compounds prepared with this
plasticizer also evolve lower levels of smoke than materials containing typical phthalate ester plasticizers.
Its high solvating ability can reduce processing times. |
