Silicone defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems to prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. BYK 070 was developed for medium to high polarity systems and is successfully used in the following resins thermoplastic acrylics, chlorinated rubber, PU, alkyd/urea, alkyd/melamine, acrylic/melamine. Suggested application fields include machinery paints, radiator paints, industrial coatings, automotive systems and wood lacquers. |
