Silicone-free defoamer to prevent foam formation during production, filling, and application of solvent-based coatings.
BYK 055 displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on intercoat adhesion when overcoated.
BYK 055 is especially suitable for wood and furniture coatings based on glossy polyesters, paraffine-polyesters and UV-curing polyesters.
Good results can also be achieved in epoxies.
Even at low application amounts with curtain coaters, curtain stability is provided.
BYK 055 is not available in the North American market.
Please use BYK A 500 instead. |
