Mineral oil defoamer for emulsion paints, industrial emulsions, emulsion plasters and emulsion adhesives to defoam during production and application.
BYK 038 is also suitable for gloss and semi-gloss emulsion paints and for the production of emulsions.
The defoamer is stable upon storage, resistant to yellowing from ultra-violet radiation and does not influence color acceptance and color development in tinted systems.
BYK 038 is especially designed for universal use in APEO-free emulsions with a PVC from 20 to 70 %.
It contains a small amount of a paint compatible silicone which enhances defoaming performance. |
