EFKA-1120 |
Acrylic modified alkyd resin |
EFKA-1120 is a dispersing resin especially developed for the production of resin minimal pigment concentrates. EFKA-1120 shows good pigment wetting and stabilizing performance and excellent compatibility with commonly used resins in the coatings industry. Due to its primary hydroxyl groups, EFKA-1120 is able to crosslink with amino and polyisocyanate resins. EFKA-1120 should be used in combination with EFKA dispersants as the grinding vehicle to formulate solventborne pigment concentrates. Depending on the application, the most suitable combinations are: -EFKA-1120 and EFKA-4009 for pigment concentrates where cost effective performance is important and low shear force incorporation into the let-down is required -EFKA-1120 and EFKA-4530 for pigment concentrates which have the added benefit of excellent compatibility with nitrocellulose based coatings -see our concept for resin minimal pigment concentrates |
