Silicone defoamer for aqueous coatings, suitable for emulsion systems with a PVC from 0 to 25% based on polyurethane and acrylate/polyurethane.
The defoamer is very effective during the production and application of aqueous coatings, it does not influence color acceptance and gloss.
It is especially preferred when application is by rolling, brushing or spraying.
BYK 024 is easy to incorporate and, therefore, can be used effectively in systems where no high shear forces are available for incorporation.
The defoamer demonstrates excellent long term stability and can also be utilized in aqueous pigment concentrates. |
