IRGAGUARD A 2000 is a highly specific and effective inhibitor of photosynthesis and therefore controls very effectively the growth of algae, moss, etc. on the plastic surface.
The combination of low migration rates and high activity of IRGAGUARD A 2000 typically provides anti-algae, anti-moss efficacy over the entire life of the plastic article.
Optimum balance between substrate compatibility and migration rates make this product suitable
for all common substrates.
The use of IRGAGUARD A 2000 can be recommended in applications which are exposed to sunlight and moisture.
Suitable polymers are polyolefins (PP, LD & HDPE), PMMA (extruded), Polystyrene, PVC and UP.
