Silicone defoamer for aqueous coatings, especially suitable for pigmented emulsion systems based on styrene acrylate, acrylate or acrylate/polyurethane with a PVC of 18-25%.
This defoamer has demonstrated improvement of microfoam in high gloss and semi-gloss aqueous coatings, specifically airless and air-assisted applied coatings.
It is very effective during the production and application of aqueous coatings, it does not influence color acceptance and gloss.
For incorporation, sufficiently high shear forces are required to avoid cratering.
The defoamer demonstrates excellent long term stability. |
