IRGAGUARD A 2110 algaecide additive containing 10 % IRGAGUARD A 2000 as active ingredient in a LDPE carrier.
IRGAGUARD A 2000 is a highly specific and effective inhibitor of photosynthesis and there-fore controls very effectively the growth of algae, moss, etc. on the plastic surface.
The combination of low migration rates and high activity of IRGAGUARD A 2000 typically pro-vides anti-algae, anti-moss efficacy over the entire life of the plastic article.
Optimum bal-ance between substrate compatibility and migration rates make this product suitable for all common substrates.
The use of IRGAGUARD A 2110 can be recommended in applications which are exposed to sunlight and moisture.
Suitable polymers are polyolefins (PP, LD & HDPE).
Key areas of applications are artificial wood, beech reinforcement, roofing, shingles, tents, awnings, artificial lawn, astro turf, plastic boats, piers, buoys and others. |
