OPTEMA TC 117 is an ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer which can be used for extrusion lamination and coextrusion applications where good interlayer adhesion between polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polycarbonate, PVdC, and other substrates is required.
It can also be used as a heat seal layer in coextrusions and extrusion coating.
TC 117 provides superior resistance to chill roll sticking, relative to other EMA resins.
It can be processed at temperatures up to 625'F without degradation or gel formation.
