FINSOLV BOHS-111 is a medium weight emollient ester derived from octyl hydroxystearate. This natural, vegetable based benzoate ester exhibits superior pigment wetting and dispersing properties and exceptional tactile properties. FINSOLV BOHS-111 is compatible with a wide range of cosmetic materials including volatile silicones which make it an excellent addition to a wide range of skin care products.
When used in emulsion products, FINSOLV BOHS-111 produces an elegantly rich feel during application with a soft cushioned dry down. In antiperspirant and deodorant products, FINSOLV BOHS-111 will deliver a creamy, less waxy feel to the skin and help in reducing the white residue left on the skin by the actives.
In make-up preparations, FINSOLV BOHS-111 is an excellent dispersant for both organic and inorganic pigments producing grinds which are significantly thinner than similar grinds in castor oil. In lipstick formulations, FINSOLV BOHS-111 will not only add shine but will also enhance moisturization.
