CETYL RICINOLEATE BENZOATE

This natural, vegetable based benzoate ester of cetyl ricinoleate exhibits exceptional pigment wetting and dispersing properties. In addition, its light feel and low viscosity make it an excellent addition to a wide range of personal care formulations.
The tactile properties of this unique emollient ester enables it to be formulated into rich, luxurious feeling emulsions with a velvety afterfeel. In addition, due to its low viscosity and pigment wetting properties, FINSOLV BCR-111 is an excellent vehicle for micronized TiO2 and zinc oxide. A 50% dispersion of TiO2 exhibited a viscosity which was 80% lower than one in castor oil.
FINSOLV BCR-111 has also been proven to be an exceptional dispersant for colorants used in both permanent and temporary hair dyes. The results are more vibrant reds and yellows along with softer, shinier hair.
Based on its tactile properties, FINSOLV BCR-111 will find use in a variety of Personal Care formulations.
- Skin Care - FINSOLV BCR-111 will give emulsion products a richer more cushioned feel without feeling oily or greasy.
- Sun Care - as a dispersant for both organic and inorganic sunscreens, FINSOLV BCR-111 will find application in a wide range of Sun Care products. In addition, the low surface tension will help in delivering sunscreen actives more evenly on the skin resulting in more consistent SPF results.
- Hair Care - FINSOLV BCR-111 is an excellent dispersant for both permanent and temporary hair dyes providing brighter more vibrant reds and yellows. In addition, FINSOLV BCR-111 can be added to conventional shampoos and conditioners for enhanced shine and improved wet combability.
