SYLFAT FA11 |
Tall Oil Fatty Acids |
SYLFAT FA11, light in color and low in rosin, is a consistent source of liquid fatty acid. The utility of tall oil fatty acid can be found in the hygrophobic carbon chain (principally C18) and acid function of the carboxyl group (-COOH). The lower iodine value imparts advantageous performance attributes in applications where oleic acid is customarily used. For these reasons, SYLFAT FA11 is suitable for use in applications such as metalworking fluids, lubricant additives, industrial and institutional cleaners, oil-field chemicals, chemical intermediates and defoamers. |
