Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer
UL 00218 CC3 and UL 00218 CC7 are copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate.
UL 00218 CC7 has broader specifications compared to the CC3 version and can be used in less critical applications.
Both types are stabilised with antioxidants.
They are typically used in:
- Compounding
-Injection moulding
-Hot melt adhesives
-Melt temperature: 180'C.
A complete purge of the extruder with low density polyethylene is recommended before shutdown.
