SYLVATAL FA-7001 |
Dimer Acid |
SYLVATAL FA-7001 is a non-titering, fatty acid product containing approximately 75% dimer, trimer, and higher molecular-weight acids derived from the partial thermal polymerization of those unsaturated C18 and C20 fatty acids normally found in tall oil. The combination of difunctionality, long hydrocarbon chain, and low cost makes FA-7001 a cost-effective replacement for higher-priced dimer acids in the manufacture of many dimer acid-based derivatives. Applications include corrosion inhibitors, oil well drilling muds, degreasing ompounds, olyamides vehicles, alkyd coating vehicles, epoxy potting resins and synthetic lubricants and greases. |
