EPI-CURE Curing Agent 9554
EPI-CURE Curing Agent 9554 system is especially suitable for fabricating composite parts using vacuum bag impregnation or resin transfer molding.
The system¡¯s low viscosity and low curing temperature allow for fabrication of large composite parts.
The resin¡¯s high tensile strength and elongation impart superior composite properties.
The flexural fatigue performance of EPI-CURE Curing Agent 9554 fiberglass laminates made by a vacuum impregnation technique is several orders of magnitude higher than the fatigue performance of corresponding laminates made with Vinyl Ester, Modified Vinyl Ester, or Isophthalic Polyester resins.
For this reason, the use of the EPON Resin 9504/EPI-CURE Curing Agent 9554 system in fabrication of fatigue-resistant structures is significantly more economical than the use of Vinyl Ester or Polyester resins
