RUBARS |
|
Rubars is a composite of highly refined, saponified glycerides blended with conditioners designed to act as a internal lubricant and processing aid for all natural and synthetic rubber compounds. Rubars reduces compound viscosity and improves mold flow (transfer, injection and compression) And release from all metal surfaces without significantly affecting cured physical properties. Rubars also imparts a lustrous finish to the end product and yields improved product definition in all types of molded rubber articles. The dosage for Rubars is typically 1 to 5 phr, depending on the polymer and the process. Rubars is utilized in mechanical goods, floor mats, soles and heels, treads, all types of molding parts, etc. Resultant products will see increased mold flow reducing knit problems, improved end product definition with a slight lustrous finish. This internal lubricant assists processing of rubber by providing improved hot metal release and handling on the mill, smoother extrusions, easier mold cleanup and a reduction in mold release usage and mold fouling. |
