AKROCHEM P-109 |
|
P-109 Resin is an oil-soluble, heat reactive, phenolic resin based on a parasubstituted alkyl phenol. This resin sees its widest use in the formulation of Neoprene-based contact cements. The outstanding feature of this resin is its extremely light color and improved open time. P-109 Resin is extensively used in the preparation of general-purpose and heat-activating neoprene cements. It is also used in the formulation of adhesives with NBR, SBR, natural and reclaimed rubbers. In the specific case of neoprene contact cements, P-109 Resin extends tack life, increases the specific adhesion of the film to metal and glass, and increases the cohesive strength of the adhesive film itself. |
