Aztec DYBP Liquid |
|
Aztec DYBP is a liquid dialkyl peroxide for use as a crosslinking agent for synthetic and natural rubbers as well as plastic resins such as polyethylene. The Aztec DYBP 50C is a 50% by weight dispersion on calcium carbonate of the neat liquid peroxide. Aztec DYBP peroxide is used as a catalyst for crosslinking a variety of synthetic rubbers including EPR, EPDM, EVA, NBR, polychloroprene, PVC, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, SBR, polyurethane and silicone. DYBP peroxide is a low odor catalyst. Typical dosages range from 1.0 to 10.0 phr depending on polymer type and filler loadings. DYBP provides compounders with the maximum scorch safety in peroxide cured materials. As a result, cure times will be longer unless curing temperatures are raised to compensate. |
