SYLVARES 540 (Formerly URATAK 68540), a phenol-modified copolymer of styrene and alpha methyl styrene, is particularly suited for use as a resin in EVA-based hot melt adhesives.
SYLVARES 540 can be used to control open time and hot tack of hot melt adhesives for bookbinding and hygienic care products. Imparts excellent adhesion, light color and thermal stability to HMAs. |
