Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin |
|
LX-2600 Resin is an inert thermoplastic resin with broad utilization in lithographic printing ink and coatings applications. It is a more economical alternative to the conventional C-9 hydrocarbon resin. With respect to ink systems, LX-2600 functions as a co-resin in gel vehicles or as the primary resin in flushing and grinding vehicles. LX-2600 solutions are most widely used as let-down vehicles in black and color news inks. In coatings, LX-2600 can replace significant portions of a medium or long oil alkyd in high solids primers and architectural or industrial maintenance coatings. |
