Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin |
|
LX-2000 Resin is a thermally produced, phenol modified hydrocarbon resin. Its low solution viscosity and ultrasolubility in ink solvents and vegetable oils further enhances the superb pigment wetting in carbon black dispersions and flushing vehicles for heatset and sheetfed systems, LX-2000 is also an ideal co-resin in gel vehicles with highly structured phenolic modified rosin esters. In high solids, alkyd-based architectural and industrial maintenance coatings and primers, LX-2000 lowers VOC levels while enhancing adhesion, hardness, and gloss.
