LX-1314 Resin is an economical rosin modified hydrocarbon resin. It is recommended for use in dry grind dispersions and flushing vehicles. In a let-down gel vehicle, it is a viable choice as a co-resin in conjunction with phenolic and maleic modified rosin esters, alkyds, and other hydrocarbon resins. LX-1314 Resin has excellent solubility in aliphatic and aromatic solvents, as well as vegetable oils. It is also recommended for color cold set/news ink systems.
