Mixed Metal Synergist
Smokebloc¢çAZ-40 is a magnesium, molybdenum, zinc based specially formulated synergist product designed to provide excellent smoke suppression for PVC applications. Smokebloc¢çAZ-40 is balanced to be both cost efficient, have minimal effect on heat stability and provide additional flame retardancy.
Smokebloc¢ç AZ-40 provides excellent smoke reduction in both rigid and plasticized PVC.
Smokebloc¢ç AZ-40 can be used with or without an antimony based flame retardant synergist.
Smokebloc¢ç AZ-40 is recommended for use at 1-12 phr depending on the degree of smoke reduction required. Smokebloc¢ç AZ-40 is a cost effective alternative to molybdenum oxides and ammonium octamolybdate with minimum effect on thermal stability. Smokebloc¢ç AZ-40 is also effective in other polymer systems which contain halogenated flame retardants.
The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
