Mixed Metal Synergist
Smokebloc¢ç AZ12 is a specially formulated synergist system designed as a direct replacement for antimony trioxide in PVC applications.
Smokebloc¢ç AZ12 will provide equivalent Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL-94) test results compared to antimony trioxide. Smokebloc¢ç AZ12 also has a reduced tint strength and provides reductions in smoke emission. Smokebloc¢ç AZ12 is effective in PVC formulations containing high levels of plasticizers where other flame retardant and smoke suppressant systems can fail. Smokebloc¢ç AZ12 is also effective in other polymer systems when used in combination with a halogen.
The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
