Lowilite 35
2-(2-Hydroxy-3-sec-butyl-5-t-butylphenyl)benzotriazole
36437-37-3
Benzotriazole Light Stabilizer
Lowilite 35 is an ultraviolet light absorber belonging to the benzotriazole class of UVAs.
Lowilite 35 is a strong ultraviolet light absorber in the 300 - 400 nm region. Lowilite 35 provides effective light stabilization and prevents the yellowing and degradation of polymers such as polycarbonate, polyester, polyacetal, polyamides, thermoplastic polyurethanes, styrene-based homopolymers and copolymers. In high surface volume applications, such as films and plaques, Lowilite 35 prevents degradation of the polymer and pigment systems.
The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
