Overview : Plasticizers are plastic organic ester compounds, formed through heating acid and alcohol with the use catalyst. Plasticizers improve processing ability and transform physical property by being added to high molecular materials. Plasticizers are used to strengthen flexibility, cold-resistance, volatility-resistance and electrical features for leather, seats, PVC films and electrical cords.Aekyung Petrochemical has improved procedures of Aekyung Co., Ltd. which started production of plasticizers in 1964. Through the building of new plants seven times, Aekyung Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. has the production capacity of 350,000 tons per year based on DOP and has manufactured various plasticizers as a specialized plasticizer manufacturer. Application
It is more used for compatibility than durability purpose. As a plasticizer for PVCs, it is used for construction materials, paint plastic, adhesives and lubricants. |
