Overview : With MA, FA is one of polybasic acids, and is used as material of unsaturated polyester resin. As part of developing various usages for high value-added product production, Aekyung Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has manufactured and sold high purity FA through the isomerization of MAC.
Through strict quality control, Aekyung Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. has manufactured and sold FA for industrial and food supplement since 1992. However, with the rising demand for MA , the production of FA was suspended in 1998. Currently, review on expanding capacity to retrieve FA is under progress and FA will be manufactured at the earliest possible date.

Usage
- Unsaturated polyester resin for buttons,electrical parts,artical marble and paint.
- FA is a seasoning and designated as food additives.
- Recently, FA has been increasingly in use for sweetener, asparaginic acid.
- Other usages include Paper Sizing Material, food, medicines and bath powder. |
