Bartex is a white, barium sulfate extender pigment designed to increase the efficiency of titanium dioxide.
Bartex features are controlled particle size, high whiteness, and brightness values, high specific gravity, and chemical inertness.
Hitox Corporation produces different grades to meet your specific needs.
The base chemistry on all four prime grades is relatively the same.
Our products contain 98% BaSO4 and 0.4% SiO2 content with a low water solubles rate of 0.1 to 0.2%.
The pH is about 8.
Our basic filler grade of barium sulfate contain 93% BaSO4 and 6% SiO2 content with a water solubles content of 0.1 to 0.2%, and a pH value of 8.
This chemistry is the highest quality of any producer in the United States.
Bartex 80 can be used where gloss is not a factor, but price is, in your formulation and application. |
