Barimite XF is a general purpose grade of barytes. Its topsize is fine enough for it to be used in many high gloss and semi-gloss enamels, but it is also used in a variety of primers, inks, plastics and other applications where a smooth surface is required and/or where abrasion may be an issue. "XF" is often the reinforcing filler of choice in black and darker colored rubber compounds. Baramite products are natural, unbleached barytes produced from our extensive reserves in Cartersville, Georgia, using a unique flotation process. The products made from this process are clean, high purity, high specific gravity, low solubility, and chemically inert. These properties have made Baramite products the industry standard for consistent quality and performance. * Coatings: Automotive primers, Automotive topcoats, High gloss enamels, Powder coatings, Semi-gloss latexes, Gloss latexes, Industrial coatings, Architectural coatings * Fillers: Plastics, Ceramics, Friction materials, Rubber, Plastisols, Adhesives, Latex products, Urethane foams, Acoustical compounds, Insulating materials, Sound attenuation products |
