Polymeric Plasticizer
a medium
Molecular weight polyester plasticizer for use in rubber and plastic applications. Since POLYCIZER PE315 is a polymeric type plasticizer, it will provide excellent permanency and low migration in those applications requiring these properties. recommended for use in PVC compounds as a permanent plasticizer with excellent volatility resistance. It also provides excellent non-migratory and low odor properties for PVC compounds in contact with modified and unmodified polystyrene in applications such as gaskets for refrigerators and other appliances. POLYCIZER PE315 also has excellent durability and low migration properties for use inheavy duty vinyl upholstery. Also, its low volatility suggests uses in electrical tapes and high temperature wire insulation. POLYCIZER PE315 has good compatibility with PVC and PVC-PVA copolymers, nitrocellose, cellulose acetate butyrate and propionate, and chlorinated rubber. Completely soluble in esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and alcohols. It has limited solubility or insolubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons and water. |
