Q-CEL microspheres are single-cell, hollow borosilicate glass microspheres.
All grades of Q-CEL high-strength microspheres are free-flowing white powders.
Q-CEL particles encapsulate air in a spherical shell, thus providing a low-density filler that reduces weight, extends resin and enhances performance properties.
Q-CEL 2135 and PM 6263 are suitable for spray-up operations.
Q-CEL 600 is designed for thermoset, compression-molded plastics, and off-shore oil well cements.
PVC 6767 is recommended for PVC auto underbody applications and trenching-type exposives.
Q-CEL 600, PM 6274 and PM6494 demonstrate excellent survival in high-shear, high-pressure applications.
Each of these microsphere products, used alone or in combination with other Q-CEL products or conventional fillers, will provide maximum filler loadings and low compound densities at desirable formulation viscosities. |
