modified calcium salt derived from Lactic Acid. The product is specifically designed to function as an acid/catalyst neutralizer in polyolefins and other thermoplastic resin systems.
-Corrosion Resistance: PATIONIC 1240 effectively neutralizes mildly and strongly acidic catalyst residues remaining in the polymer due to the designed basicity of the product.
-Improved Melt Flow Stabiltity: Acidic residues that contribute to polymer degradation are efficiently neutralized resulting in improved process stability of the polymer.
-Polymer Color Development Minimized: Little or in some Cases no color development of the polymer has been observed following processing.
-Cost Effective/Improved Performance: Vs. fatty acid salts and synthetic inorganic type products. |
