OMYACARB 5, one of a series of beneficiated, high calcium limestone products produced by Omya, Inc., has intermediate and closely sized particle distribution.
Low oil absorption, high brightness and good dispersion characteristics make it an excellent general purpose extender.
OMYACARB 5 is an ideal extender for plastics, rubber, coatings and caulks where a uniform product, free from oversize particles, is important.
Polyester grade OMYACARB 5 is designed for use in sheet molding compound (SMC), with finished parts exhibiting excellent physical and surface properties.

Food Chemicals Codex - OMYACARB 5 meets the requirements listed under "Limestone Ground" in the Food Chemicals Codex and is approved for functional use in foods. |
