OMYACARB 3, one of a series of beneficiated,high calcium limestone products produced by Omya, Inc., possesses excellent fineness, color and dispersion characteristics.
Extensively employed in rubber and plastics, OMYACARB 3 has proven effective as a bulk filler in plasticized PVC, especially in critical uses requiring the absence of grit.
It also yields high volume resistivity for wire and cable applications and exhibits excellent heat stability.
OMYACARB 3,s use in solvent and water-borne coatings provides consistent high fineness of grind readings and good gloss development.
In putties, caulks and sealants, it is used at high filler levels because of its nominal oil absorption, low presence of fines and high brightness.
Superior brightness and retention makes OMYACARB 3 an economical filler for fine paper.
OMYACARB 3 is available in both dry and slurry form.
