MIXXIM BB/50 is distinguished by its low volatility, its broad range of UV light absorption and its excellent solubility in many polymers.
Engineering Resins: Nylon, Polycarbonate, PET, PBT, PPO Because MIXXIM BB/50'S volatility is low during the processing of engineering resins at temperatures above 300C. This allows the recycling or reworking of scrap without significant loss of the U.V. light stabilizer. MIXXIM BB/50 meets the stringent requirements of applications where light transmission and optical properties are critical.
Other Polymers: PVC, Styrene, Acrylics MIXXIM BB/50 is very compatible with many polymers. Its high absorptivity in the 300 to 360 nm range, plus its low volatility, assures maximal resistance to U.V. light degradation even during long term indoor and outdoor exposure. |
