| LUBRICIN N-2 |

A non-metallic internal/external lubricant providing unique hydroxyl functionality for use in rigid and semi-rigid filled and unfilled PVC compounds. LUBRICINN-2 provides improved wetting of inorganic fillers which results in a more uniform dispersion of filler while lowering viscosity and reducing power output requirements during processing.

Applications: LUBRICIN N-2 is recommended for use in filled and unfilled rigid PVC injection molding and extrusion compounds. LUBRICIN N-2's excellent thermal stability helps to reduce equipment downtime, while minimizing heat distortion effect on finished molded articles. Moreover, when used with 0.7-2.5 micron calcium carbonate (coated or uncoated filler), LUBRICIN N-2 improves the tensile impact strength of the resin. LUBRICIN N-2 is also recommended for transparent rigid or semi-rigid PVC compounds such as bottles, calendered/extruded sheet and film, that require maximum clarity and resistance to whitening and water blush. |
