Is a 50/50 (wt) blend of K-FLEX DE and K-FLEX DP. K-FLEX Dibenzoates are widely used plasticizers for polyvinyl acetate emulsion systems. Application areas: In the packaging industry for carton sealing/forming, For book binding and labeling, in textiles--for both fibers and nonwoven fabrics, In construction - to form decorative wall paneling, window frames, and other decorative construction products as well as producing mastics and caulking compounds. K-FLEX Dibenzoate Plasticizers are also compatible with many other polymeric materials including ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), ethyl cellulose, nitro cellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate, nitrile rubber, and acrylics. K-FLEX Dibenzoate Plasticizers are primary plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride. They are highly solvating monomeric plasticizers that decrease processing times and lower processing temperatures. K-FLEX Dibenzoate Plasticizers also offer superior resistance to extraction by solvents such as kerosene, cotton seed oil and soapy water. These properties make it an excellent choice for the production of vinyl flooring, extrusions, plastisols and elastomers. Blends of K-FLEX Dibenzoates with more general purpose plasticizers are often used to take advantage of the K-FLEX Dibenzoate s properties. K-FLEX Dibenzoate Plasticizers are often used to replace plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate and butyl benzyl phthalate where the formulator seeks to avoid phthalate containing materials. |
