KEMPORE SD-125 and KEMPORE SD-200 are homogeneous dispersions of KEMPORE azodicarbonamide (1,1'-azobisformamide) chemical foaming agent in phthalate ester plasticizer.
KEMPORE SD dispersions eliminate dust, improve dispersibility in PVC plastisols, and can be metered directly into the process.
They are offered as an alternative to azodicarbonamide powders.
KEMPORE SD dispersions require no additional milling and may be added directly to vinyl compounds and other polymer systems.
Thorough agitation of the dispersion before use may be necessary to eliminate settling of solids that will Form: Thick, viscous liquid
KEMPORE SD dispersions are suggested for azodicarbonamide applications where dusty powders are a concern: where the dispersibility of azodicarbonamide in a viscous medium (e.g. PVC plastisol) is a problem: or where the foaming agent is to be metered directly into the manufacturing process.
KEMPORE SD dispersions are manufactured from two grades of azodicarbonamide to meet most production requirements.
KEMPORE SD-125 is the general purpose foaming agent dispersion recommended for most azodicarbonamide applications.
KEMPORE SD-200 is the premium dispersion.
It is suggested for critical applications, where the fastest rate of blow and the lowest processing temperatures are desired.
Depending on the application, use levels for dispersions may range from less than 0.1 phr (parts per hundred resin) to greater than 10 ph
