Antioxidants protect polymers, and particularly polyolefins, against damage from oxidation. They prevent discoloration, degradation and/or crosslinking during processing and ensure a high level of service stability over long periods.
HOSTANOX SE 2 is an aliphaticthiocarboxylic ester (DSTDP). It is used in combination with HOSTANOX 03 whenever it is necessary to achieve very high long-term stability--particularly in the production of articles for food contact applications.
