Bonding Agent M-3P |
|
Bonding Agent M3P, a crystalline flake, is a methylene donor for improving the adhesion of rubber compounds to cotton, rayon, nylon, Kevlar glass and wire when used in combination with resorcinol donors such as Bonding Agent R-6. It eliminates the need for latex treating facilities and produces shorter curing cycles, especially in tires. Especially recommended for use in tire wire belt compounds to promote adhesion. Used in carcass compounds to obtain sufficient adhesion improvement when using latex treated cords. Gives improved fiberglass adhesion to rubber due to higher modulus characteristics for belting. Especially recommended for use in tire wire belt compounds to promote adhesion. |
