Halogenated Flame Retardant Great Lakes DE-79 is a brominated aromatic flame retardant for thermoplastic resins. The melting range of Great Lakes DE-79 offers unique processing and product performance when used as an additive flame retardant for ABS, nylon, thermoplastic elastomers and polyolefins. Great Lakes DE-79 is also recommended for adhesives and coatings. The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
