FR-1034, Tetrabromodipentaerythritol is a new flame retardant containing 63% aliphatic bromine which can be used as an additive PR for polymers like polypropylene, high impact polystyrene and ABS. Its use as an additive flame retardant is recommended when good flow, good thermal aging and non blooming properties are required. FR-1034 is also a reactive flame retardant candidate for use in unsaturated polyesters, where high thermal stability is required. |
