ELECTROSOL S-1-X is an anti-static agent of the modified amine type. Specifically designed for the treatment of polyethylene and vinyls by integral addition at time of processing, it also has been found effective in a number of other resins.
The percentage to be used for optimum effect is best determined by trial in the particular process: from 0.25-3.0% is the most successful range.
ELECTROSOL S-1-X does not affect colors or agglomerate pigments in the compounded plastic. It tends to reduce age-yellowing of vinyls and promotes self-sealing of scratched surfaces. |

ELECTROSOL S-l-X is a white solid melting at 45C, best added in the molten form. Decomposition temperature is 320C: boiling point is 150C: specific gravity is 0.96.
ELECTROSOL S-1-X is insoluble in water. |
