An excellent stabilizer for use in polyolefins that are in contact with copper or coppercontaining alloys. This stabilizer functions by reacting with and deactivating various copper salts that promote the oxidation of polyolefins. OABH is especially useful in extruded polyolefins that function as insulation on copper wire and cable. It is being used in communication cables that are intended for underground or aerial service. |
