DEHYDAT 7882 is used as an internal and external antistatic agent for a variety of plastics, especially for unplasticized PVC, PS, styrene copolymers, polyesters and PMMA.
The electrostatic properties of plastic articles that have been treated with DEHYDAT 7882 are improved.
The dosage depends on the type of plastic and the required anti-static effect, in general, dosages of 0.3% to 1.5% are recommended.
Under some circumstances, higher dosages can lead to clouding.
As with all antistatic agents, the antistatic effectiveness of DEHYDAT 7882 is dependent on the formula and the processing technology. |
