CLARIFEX clarifiers effectively reduce haze and yellowness, imparting a clearer, whiter appearance to polypropylene homopolymers, ethylene-propylenecopolymers, and LLDPE.
Even after repeated heat histories, as with regrind, CLARIFEX clarifers do not yellow or darken like many other nucleating agents.
Unpleasant odor and taste problems are eliminated as well, serving to increase the marketability of your molded part or its contents. ,
Less apparent, yet crucial to consumers, is that CLARIFEX clarifiers offer the broadest FDA clearance for retortable food applications.
CLARIFEX 950 Clarifier Concentrate is a 15% active concentrate form of ICI Polymer Additives* CLARIFEX 850 Clarifier in a LLDPE base resin. This pellet concentrate form product allows for an easy and economical incorporation of the clarifying/nucleating agent into the final polymer product. At typical letdown ratios of 60:1, CLARIFEX 950 Clarifier Concentrate yields a final polyethylene product with improved aesthetic and physical properties as well as enhanced processing characteristics.
