resinous plasticizers especially suitable for plasticizing those film forming materials with which, in general, resinous type plasticizers are not compatible. These alkyd resins find immediate use as plasticizers for Polyvinyl Acetate with which they are especially compatible. They are also compatible with nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, nylon, certain grades of polyvinyl alcohol and other natural and synthetic film forming materials. Chemically, these plasticizers are completely saturated and thus possess remarkable stability and are not affected by heat, cold, ultra violet light, oxygen, ozone, or other factors that contribute to the deterioration of organic materials.
