Adiprene FM |
Polyether millable urethane |
Used extensively in rolls, molded goods. Processes on conventional rubber equipment. ADIPRENE FM is a polyether polyurethane rubber. It can be vulcanized with either sulfur or peroxide and can be easily processed on conventional rubber equipment. Optimum physical properties are achieved with the addition of reinforcing fillers. The polymer's low viscosity allows it to be processed on mills, internal mixers and other equipment faster than many other urethane grades. Vulcanizates of ADIPRENE FM have a unique combination of excellent properties, such as abrasion resistance, low temperature flexibility, resistance to swelling in oil or solvents, ozone cracking and weathering. In addition, vulcanizates exhibit a high level of resilience and tear strength, and good hydrolytic stability. |
